What this site is
Setistry publishes informational and editorial content: setup ideas, buying guidance and product research. Content is provided as-is, for general information. It is not professional, financial, medical or legal advice.
Products, prices and merchants
Product details are based on sourced manufacturer and merchant specifications at the time of writing. Availability, prices and specifications change; we make no guarantee that they are current. Purchases happen on the merchant's site, under the merchant's terms, the merchant is responsible for its products, pricing and transactions.
Fit and electrical verdicts
Some pages show fit verdicts: whether a set of equipment fits a described space, and whether it can run on a described circuit. Those verdicts are arithmetic performed on recorded figures. The figures come from manufacturer documentation, retailer specifications, technical drawings, or measurements we or an owner took, and a verdict is only ever as strong as the weakest figure behind it. Where you enter a measurement of your own, it is used in your browser for your own scenario only, it is not sent to us, and it does not change the published verdict.
A fit verdict answers a question about the space described on the page, not about your kitchen. Even where every figure is present, the result is a calculation from published numbers: nobody has inspected your counter, your cabinets, or the unit you own. Labels such as "Verified fit" describe how strong the evidence behind a calculation is, not a promise about any outcome in your home.
Electrical verdicts are calculated for a US 120V circuit under the US continuous-load convention of 80% of the breaker rating; a supply outside that range returns no verdict rather than a converted one. The calculation adds up the power ratings of the appliances listed and compares the total against the rating of the circuit described. It does not know what else is connected to your circuit, and it is not an examination of your wiring, your breaker, or the condition of either. Nothing on this site is electrical advice and nothing on it replaces a qualified electrician. Have a real circuit checked by someone qualified to check it before you rely on it.
Setistry therefore does not promise that any product will fit any particular space, that any circuit is adequate for any particular set of equipment, that any published figure is correct or current, or that any physical unit has been inspected by us. Measure the actual unit and the actual space before you buy, and consult a qualified electrician before acting on anything this site says about a circuit.
