What we collect
Setistry uses first-party analytics only. When you visit, we may record: a random session identifier (stored in a first-party cookie), the pages you view, campaign parameters from the link that brought you here (UTM parameters), the referring site's hostname, and a coarse device classification (mobile, desktop, or bot). We do not collect names or e-mail addresses through analytics, and our tracking code does not store IP addresses.
Outbound click measurement
When you click a link to an external merchant, we record that a click happened — which product, which page, and the session it belonged to — so we can understand which guides are useful. The click takes you directly to the merchant; the measurement never redirects you.
We operate content on Pinterest. If and when our Pinterest integration is connected, we receive aggregate statistics about our own Pins from the Pinterest API (impressions, saves, clicks). This is data about our content's performance, not about identified visitors. Visits that arrive from Pinterest are measured with the same first-party analytics described above.
Affiliate measurement
If affiliate relationships are active, the affiliate network may attribute purchases to links you clicked, under that network's own privacy terms. On our side we receive aggregate reports; we do not receive your personal purchase details. See our Affiliate Disclosure for the current state of affiliate relationships.
Third-party services
The site is hosted on a cloud hosting provider and uses a managed database provider; both process technical request data (such as IP addresses in transient server logs) as any web host does, under their own terms. We do not sell data, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Retention and your rights
Analytics records are kept for measurement and are not linked to your identity. Because we do not collect identifying information through the site, we generally cannot look up data about a specific person. If you have a privacy question or request, contact us and we will make a reasonable effort to help under applicable law.
